Lord Archer (61) has arrived at London's Old Bailey Court for the first day of his trial relating to a libel case 14 years ago.

The former deputy chairman of the Conservative party posed briefly for photographs outside the court.
His co-defendant, television producer Mr Edward Francis, (67) of Cranleigh, Surrey, arrived 20 minutes earlier.
The two men deny perverting justice, relating to Lord Archer's 1987 libel action against the Daily Star.
Lord Archer also denies another count of perverting the course of justice, two counts of perjury and one of using a false instrument.
Mr Justice Potts is due to preside at the trial, at which David Waters QC will appear for the Crown. Lord Archer is to be represented by Mr Nicholas Purnell QC and Francis by Mr Roy Amlot QC.
