Camp Zeist - The Lockerbie trial of two Libyans accused of mass murder by blowing up a US Pan Am airliner over Scotland was adjourned yesterday to January 30th after lawyers made closing submissions.
The presiding judge, Lord Sutherland, said the long-awaited verdict would not be issued on that date. He spoke after lawyers for the two Libyans completed final submissions arguing that the prosecution case was wholly circumstantial and piled "inference upon inference".
