Ipswich's relegation from the English Premiership was confirmed in a 5-0 defeat at Liverpool today as Arsenal celebrated the double with a 4-3 win over Everton at Highbury.

England striker Michael Owen, Czech international Vladimir Smicer and Frenchman Nicolas Anelka added goals in the second half to complete the rout.
