Liverpool swept the board at World Soccermagazine's annual awards, with Michael Owen edging out England team-mate David Beckham for the "world player of the year" award.
Manager Gerard Houllier took the "manager of the year" award, and Liverpool took the team award.
Liverpool are the first club to top all three categories in the 19-year history of the awards. Their achievement comes after a year in which they won the UEFA Cup, UEFA Supercup, FA Cup, Worthington Cup and Charity Shield.
Real Madrid's Raul was third behind Beckham and Owen in the player stakes.
