Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny is due to discuss the economic crisis and the Lisbon Treaty when he meets German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other EU leaders at a European People’s Party (EPP) summit in Brussels tomorrow.
The meeting will be attended by heads of government from across Europe from Fine Gael’s sister parties in the EPP, as well as the presidents of the European Commission and Parliament.
It precedes a meeting of the European Council.
Key issues up for discussion include the economic situation, and ratification of the Lisbon Treaty, on which Mr Kenny will be reporting.
