Thomas Stewart, The Cedars, Briarfield, Castletroy, Limerick, and Patrick O’Brien, Glanntán, Golf Links Road, Castletroy, are accused of killing Breda Waters (28) and Des Kelly (24), who were shot at O’Malley Park, Southill on January 9th. In Limerick District Court yesterday, Det Pat Whelan gave evidence of presenting the accused with the books of evidence. Judge Tom O’Donnell told them they had 14 days to inform the State of any alibi witnesses they intend calling. They were remanded in custody.
