THE whereabouts of the Catholic Bishop of Argyll and the Isles, Dr Roderick Wright, and the Fort William nurse and divorcee Ms Kathleen Macphee, are still unknown.
Yesterday it emerged that a let tear sent by the missing bishop to his brother in Aberdeen was posted from England, rather than Ireland as originally reported.
The Royal Mail last night was investigating claims that the letter was delivered to the wrong house three times An Aberdeen woman, Ms Catherine Dyker, claimed she eventually opened the letter after returning it to the Royal Mail on three occasions.
It is understood the letter, intended for Bishop Wright's brother Donald John Wright, begged to refused to comment on his brother's disappearance at the same time as that of his close friend, Ms Macphee. Mr Donald Wright has refused, to comment on his brother's disappearance or give any details as to where he may be.
After the bishop's departure there was speculation that he might be hiding out with Ms Macphee in Ireland, possibly in Co Donegal, where he has frequently holidayed in recent times.
