British TV presenter John Leslie was today committed to stand trial at Southwark Crown Court on two charges of indecent assault.
Former ITV host Leslie (38), was committed in a short hearing at Bow Street Magistrates' Court, central London, and will make his next appearance at Southwark on July 31st.

The two assaults, both on the same woman, are alleged to have taken place within three days in May 1997.

A former presenter of the children's show Blue Peter, Leslie became a household name after joining This Morningin 1999.
