Leinster will not be citing Montferrand winger David Bory for the illegal challenge which led to Gordon D'Arcy being stretchered off in Saturday's 23-20 Heineken Cup victory in France.

D'Arcy suffered severe bruising to his back and was forced to travel home with the team in a wheelchair. There were initial fears that he may have sustained a fracture to his lower back.

The Leinster winger had x-rays in Dublin yesterday and is unlikely to play again until the New Year.

Bory led with his knees as he landed on D'Arcy's back when the winger slid over the line to score Leinster's first try.

Bory remained on the pitch after the foul as the match officials claimed not to have seen the incident.

According to reports, referee Paul Adams allegedly told one Leinster official that Bory had "stumbled", while he apparently told captain Reggie Corrigan he hadn't seen anything.

D'Arcy left the pitch in considerable agony.

After viewing video footage of the incident this afternoon, Leinster officials have decided not to pursue the matter further.
