A legal row has broken out about the ownership of 200 acres of barley and 15 acres of potatoes on the former Graham farm in Donegal which was seized recently.

The High Court has granted local farmers, Messrs Gordon and Alfred Elder and Robert McClay, temporary injunctions restraining Donegal Creameries from harvesting the crops. Mr Don Seligman, counsel for the farmers, told Mr Justice Hugh Geoghegan that the Elders claimed to have taken 101 acres from the Grahams on an 11 month rental and sown a crop of barley. Mr McClay was claiming ownership of barley on another 100 acres and 15 acres of potatoes.

Mr Justice Geoghegan granted the farmers a temporary injunction.
