Legal argument in the absence of the jury continued at the Central Criminal Court trial yesterday of a woman accused of murdering her husband who owned a Dublin chip shop.
Ms Anna Maria Sacco (21) has pleaded not guilty to the murder of her husband Franco Sacco (29) at their home at Coolamber Park, Templeogue, on March 20th 1997.
The prosecution allege Mrs Sacco "brought about" the killing of her husband, though a teenage girl pulled the trigger "on her behalf".
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was 15 years old at the time and was staying at the house in Coolamber Road. She will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty separately to Mr Sacco's murder.
The jury has been sent away by Mr Justice O'Higgins until tomorrow while legal argument takes place.
