Gardai from the Kilmainham Drugs unit have seized some €10,000 of heroin after aplanned search in the south inner city.
A follow up operation uncovereda sawn-off shotgun and a number of cartridges.
Two men in their 30's have been arrested and are being detained at Kilmainham GardaStation under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
