Moscow - President Boris Yeltsin (68), suffering from a bout of influenza and a high temperature, is feeling better, the Kremlin said yesterday, but the Russian leader will remain in hospital for several days. Mr Yeltsin began to feel ill on Friday at his country residence, but would only agree to be admitted into the hospital the following day, the Kremlin spokesman, Mr Dmitry Yakushkin, said on Saturday. He denied a newspaper report which claimed Mr Yeltsin was to undergo surgery, possibly this month.
