Michael Kinane misses the ride on hot favourite Galileo in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot tomorrow after his appeal over a two-day ban was dismissed at the Turf Club today.

The Champion jockey left the hearing at the Turf Club's Curragh headquarters grim-faced with his solicitor, Andrew Coonan.

"We've no comment at this stage," said Coonan.

The appeal was adjourned from Thursday following an afternoon of legal arguments and counter-arguments.
