A site in Co Kildare, which is to be used for a fairground over Christmas, has been occupied by a large group of travellers in 30 caravans, the High Court was told yesterday. The owner of the lands, Baba Exports Ltd, Tara Street, Dublin, was given leave to seek an order next Monday to have the travellers removed from the site at Moorefield Road, Newbridge.
Later yesterday, the Industrial Development Authority (Ireland) was granted leave by the judge to seek an injunction next Monday to restrain a number of travellers from trespassing on an IDA site at Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan.
