Republic of Ireland footballer Mark Kennedy has pleaded not guilty to four charges relating to an alleged drink-drive incident.

Kennedy has appeared before Macclesfield magistrates, Cheshire.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers player was charged with failing to provide a breath specimen and driving without due care and attention.

He also faces charges of driving while unfit through drink and failing to stop when required by police.

Kennedy pleaded not guilty to all four offences and the case has been adjourned until January 14th.

It is alleged Kennedy, of Oakwood House, Alderley Edge, Cheshire, committed the offences early on Sunday morning, September 9th, after a night out in the village.
