The jury was sent to a hotel this evening after three hours deliberation.

At 6.20pm at Ennis Circuit Court, Judge Rory McCabe asked the foreman of the jury if there was any prospect of the jury reaching a unanimous verdict within the next half hour and the foreman responded: “On all the charges? No.”

The judge told the jury that they will resume their deliberations tomorrow morning at 10.30am.
