The widow of the Northern journalist shot dead last week has called for there to be no retaliation for his killing.

Martin O'Hagan was murdered by loyalist paramilitaries outside his home in Lurgan, Co Armagh last week and a leading loyalist claimed he had been warned by the RUC that his life was in danger from dissident republicans.

Speaking yesterday, Mrs Marie O'Hagan said "No one, nor any organisation, must take it upon themselves to kill in our, or more importantly, my late husband's name".
