The British Prime Minister and the US President will make a joint appeal in favour of the Belfast Agreement at a keynote speech at the G8 Summit in Birmingham tomorrow. The growing concern about temporary releases granted to loyalist and republican prisoners was underlined by Mr Tony Blair at the G8 Summit yesterday when he spoke of the public "revulsion" at the appearance of the loyalist murderer Michael Stone, at a rally for the No campaign on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, Mr Bill Clinton says he will brook no return to violence in the North and the joint appeal with Mr Blair is intended as a last "decisive" push in favour of a Yes vote.
