Jonjo O'Neill was fined £6,000 sterling at a hearing of the Jockey Club's disciplinary panel in London today.

The Jackdaws Castle trainer had been referred to Portman Square for his third breach of the running and riding rules within six weeks.

His most recent infringement came when Top Of The Left finished a 32-length seventh behind Vanormix in the second division of the Sparkle Cleaning Service Novices' Hurdle at Exeter on January 27th after appearing to be tenderly ridden up the home straight by conditional jockey Tom Siddall.
