Jedward is set to make a sparkling second grab for Ireland's Eurovision spot tomorrow night on The Late Late Show Eurosong 2012 special.
Under the mentorship of Eurovision winner Linda Martin, Jedward will be performing a love song for the first time. With her experience in tow, Ms Martin hopes to be a calming influence on the flashy pop duo and to vault the fan-favorites to the top of the list.
"Waterline is a fantastic European pop song," said Ms Martin, describing it as a metaphor for falling in love.
“I loved it straight away and so did the boys. It’s one that will appeal to every age group. It has a very modern sound and I’m confident that it’s the perfect song for Eurovision.”
Ireland’s Eurovision entry will be chosen from one of five acts, representing a spectrum of musical genres and stage styles from rock to pop, even traditional Irish.
Also vying for the slot are Celtic Aura with Maria McCool, Donna McCaul, Andrew Mann, Una Gibney and David Shannon.
The Irish Eurosong winner will be chosen by a combination of jury and public voting.
Each team is paired with a more-experienced musical mentor from the Irish industry. Chosen last November by RTÉ, the mentors selected songs and performers they thought had the most winning potential.
This year's Eurovision is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan in May.
