Israel killed a senior member of the Hamas militant group and another gunman in an airstrike on
their car in Gaza on Thursday, days before a key parliamentary vote on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Gaza pullout plan.
The army had no immediate comment on the attack. Medics said the missile slammed into the vehicle and killed Adnan al-Ghoul, a senior leader of the militant group and master bombmaker who has been on Israel's wanted list for more than 15 years.
