Israeli forces killed three Palestinian militants during a raid today on a house in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian security sources said.
Rashid Zakarneh, head of al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in the village of Qabatiya, and two other members of the group, his cousin Ashraf Zakarneh and Mohammed Mahmoud Abu al-Robb, were killed in heavy exchanges of fire between militants in the house and soldiers outside, the sources said.
At least seven other Palestinians were wounded in the violence in Qabatiya, near the West Bank town of Jenin.
