Sales managers at Irish Life are to meet next Tuesday to review progress in talks about redeploying more than 30 of them as salesmen or tied agents of the company.
Talks between their union, MSF, and the company ended at the Labour Relations Commission yesterday without a agreement on compensation for managers most affected. The company wants to press ahead with reorganisation and refer the question of compensation for the redeployed stuff to the Labour Court. MSF wants the reorganisation held in suspense until all problems are resolved.
