Today's Rosslare to Roscoff sailing is cancelled, as is tomorrow's return sailing. The Rosslare to Le Havre sailing on Sunday is also cancelled, along with Monday's Roscoff to Cork sailing. Other services are not affected.

Following the cancellation of Thursday's sailing to France, passengers were accommodated in nearby hotels.

The company is currently redirecting passengers via sailings to Britain.

The cancellations follow a grounding incident involving the Saint Killian II

ferry in Cork last Monday.

The vessel is in dry dock in Liverpool for repairs following the incident.

Irish Ferries was contacting prospective passengers yesterday, and the company hopes to have sailings restored to normal next Tuesday.
