A motorcyclist in her 40s was killed on Saturday night when she crashed into the central divide on the M9 motorway in Co Kildare.
The incident happened at about 8.30pm between junction 1 and junction 2 southbound.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and no one else was injured. The road is closed for a technical examination.
