Over 7,000 IT professionals are expected to attend Ireland's largest technology event which opened in Dublin today.
ICT Expo takes place from today until April 3rd in Dublin's RDS and has attracted such leading names as Novell, EsatBT, and Microsoft as exhibitors.
Ms Mary Hanafin, the minister with special responsibility for technology, opened ICT Expo today at the Evolve conference, which is sponsored by Esat BT.
Evolve is a one day international conference featuring a world class panel of speakers who will address the conference theme 'Winning With Technology' and discuss the joint challenges of maintaining competitive edge while keeping a lid on IT costs.
Tomorrow will feature the ICS Skills Showcase and ICS Skills IT Training Conference, which will bring 500 IT training and HR specialists together.
Among the features if Day three will be free visitor seminars demonstrating the latest developments in the world of IT with over 90 exhibition booths and pavilions including Novell, Dell, CA, Vodafone & eircom.
