Eddie O'Sullivan has delayed naming his 22-man Ireland squad for the upcoming international against Australia until tomorrow afternoon.
An announcement had been expected today but the Irish management have opted to allow the players an extra 24-hours recovery period after their Celtic League exploits over the weekend.
Injuries are likely to weaken the selection with the likes of Simon Easterby, Paul O'Connell and Rob Henderson definitely ruled out. The odds on Keith Wood returning to the front-line are also slim with the Ireland captains neck injury still a major problem.
On the upside, Geordan Murphy and Shane Horgan have both returned from injury lay-offs, as has Eric Miller who has recovered from a broken bone in his hand.
