A cook book produced by Dublin restaurant Saba has won an award at the international Gourmand Cookbook of the Year awards in Paris.

Saba: The Cookbook won the Asian Cook Book award.It was written by Saba owner Paul Cadden and chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana.

Trish Deseine, who was born in Belfast but lives in France, won first prize in the easy recipe category for Grande Table, Petite Cuisine, which has photographs by Deirdre Rooney. How to Feed Your Family on Less than €10 a Day by Cork woman Elizabeth Bollard came second in this category.
