American Maurice Greene will miss next month's World Indoor Championships in Birmingham after suffering a calf muscle injury.
The 28-year-old world and Olympic 100m champion picked up the injury during Saturday's Arkansas Invitational at Fayetteville where he finished third.
Greene will miss the remainder of the indoor season.
"I felt a slight pull towards the end of the race, it didn't feel like much at the time, but by the end of the night, it had become much worse," he said.
