Irish Crimestoppers Trust, the national crime-fighting service, said yesterday it had received information leading to new lines of inquiry in four of the 10 cases in its enhanced rewards scheme.

Crimestoppers, developed by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Garda, has offered rewards of £5,000 in relation to 10 highprofile crimes. It said callers had opened new lines of inquiry into the disappearances of three women - Ms Fiona Pender, Ms Annie McCarrick and Ms Fiona Sinnott, and a rape in Cork in April.
