Paul Ince will sign a one-year contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers this morning after agreeing to join the First Division club.
The ex-England midfielder, who left Middlesbrough this summer, will join former Manchester United team-mate Denis Irwin at Wolves as manager Dave Jones bids to build a squad capable of promotion after last season's near-miss.
"Like Denis Irwin, he is going to be a fantastic asset to the football club," Jones claimed.
"It's no mean achievement to attract Denis and Paul to Wolves to add to the other big signings we made last season and credit to the board for backing us.
