IF the autumnal quest for self improvement is stirring your blood, then make a note of some new courses on the south side of Dublin which should put new fire in your bones. Bee Walsh of the Cookery Centre of Ireland, in Dalkey, will be running a six week party and entertaining course on Thursday mornings. The cost is £90 and includes printed recipes and a tasting of all the dishes. Mrs Walsh is also running a course for budding young chefs and cooks on Saturday mornings. Full details of times and prices on 01-285 8674.
A little closer to town, Linda Booth is continuing with her six week classes which were such a big success last year, in Blackrock, south Dublin. Classes take place on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings, and explore themes such as autumn ideas, Italian, fish cookery and Mediterranean.
