Wynn's Hotel, Dublin, was given until next February to comply fully with hygiene standards after an environmental health officer (EHO) found "a total lack" of cleaning in its kitchen area.
The officer, Mr Chris Counihan, told Dublin District Court he found floors and walls at the Lower Abbey Street hotel in a dirty and at times filthy condition in June. There had been improvements since then.
Judge Miriam Malone adjourned the case to allow the hotel fully comply with the inspector's requirements.
