The Circuit Civil Court in Dublin has granted an adjournment in a case involving a thoroughbred stallion, Mill Fontaine and the syndicate that owns him, following representations that the hearing would interfere with Gold Cup day at the Cheltenham races.

The action, between Naas, Co Kildare, syndicate leader Mr James Browne and blood stock agents B.B.A. (Ireland) Ltd, Tattersalls Sales Complex, Ratoath, Co Meath, was scheduled for hearing on Thursday, March 14th.

The claim relates to the repayment of various sums in relation to advertising and other expenses allegedly incurred on behalf of Mr Browne's syndicate.
