Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy today rewarded Colin Healy, for an impressive international debut, by retaining the Celtic youngster in his 25-man squad for the friendly against Denmark at Lansdowne Road on March 27th.

Healy, 22, who is on loan from the Glasgow giants at English first division side Coventry City, gets another chance to force his way into McCarthy's World Cup plans after an impressive performance against Russia last month.

Charlton Athletic midfielder Mark Kinsella and Wimbledon striker David Connolly both return to the squad after missing the 2-0 friendly win over Russia through injury.

There is also a recall for goalkeeper Nick Colgan. The Hibernian player, who has yet to win his first cap, comes into the squad in place of injured Blackburn Rovers keeper Alan Kelly.
