Look out for a series of striking photographs by Perry Ogden that will be part of a street poster campaign in Dublin soon.
Over the past two years, Ogden has visited Mary Donohue’s high profile projects in East Africa, especially in Malawi, where her not-for-profit agency, the Rose Project, works to prevent the spread of HIV, in particular from mother to child. He hopes his photographs will remind us of the resilience and spirit of people living in the face of this seemingly endless pandemic, and reinvigorate discussion and awareness of its consequences.
Donohue reports that that were 13,000 deliveries last year at the maternity hospital funded by roseproject.org. Mark World Aids Day on December 1st by buying the project’s wrapping paper.
