Entry date for diabetes calendar
The deadline for receipt of entries to the Inspired by Diabetes 2010 calendar competition is Wednesday, September 30th. Children and adults with diabetes and family members are invited to enter paintings or photographs which represent their diabetes journey.

Resource talk for victims of abuse
Developing resources for teenagers and parents facing domestic abuse is the theme of a public talk by Dr Margaret Rogers tomorrow at 7.45pm in room F209, Newman Building, University College Dublin, Belfield.

Helping parents after separation
Parenting after separation is the theme of a talk by relationship counsellor Glynis Good on Monday at 7.30pm in the Marriage and Relationship Counselling Services office, 38 Fitzwilliam St Upper, Dublin 2.
The talk is held as part of the monthly support group meetings for separated parents, facilitated by counsellors.

Epilepsy workshops for young adults
Brainwave, the Irish Epilepsy Association, is hosting a conference for 14-21 year olds with epilepsy on Saturday at the Croke Park Conference Centre.
