HOMEOPATHY CONFERENCE: Improving the Success of Homeopathy - a global perspective is the theme of a conference in London, on January 26th and 27th.
Organised by the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital, it is the fifth international forum to be attended by representatives from government bodies, industry and academia.
Areas to be explored include how homeopathy is incorporated into public health systems, homeopathy in agriculture (eg how homeopathy could reduce the use of antibiotics in animals) and regional differences between the needs of patients and doctors.
See www.rlhh.org.uk for more details.
MEN AND CANCER: Two new studies funded by the Ulster Cancer Foundation will look at how men cope with cancer.
In one study, researchers from the Institute of Nursing Research will examine the impact of radiotherapy treatment for prostate cancer.
