Dealing with the fear of labour pain

Learning how to deal with the fear of labour pain can be as valuable as learning how to cope with the pain itself. Hypnobirthing classes have been found to help women cope better in labour by learning, in advance, specific relaxation, self-hypnosis and breathing techniques.

Hypnotherapist Aisling Killoran will lead a series of four hypnobirthing classes, starting on Saturday, August 15th in the Stillorgan Park Hotel, Dublin. Cost €440 per couple. Tel: 01-298 6507 and www.accomplishchange.ie
