Inclusion Ireland has organised a public meeting in Swinford, Co Mayo, this week to highlight concerns over the closure of bungalows where people with intellectual disabilities live.
A bungalow housing 10 people closed at Áras Attracta disability service in Swinford earlier this year and a second is now to close, requiring rehousing for 10 more people. This will force residents into already overcrowded remaining bungalows, according to Inclusion Ireland.
The meeting takes place at the Gateway Hotel, Swinford, Co Mayo, at 8.30pm, Wednesday, June 2nd.
