Brian Ingle, anosteopath, naturopath and somatic movement educator, will give an introductory talk and class on somatic movement on Thursday at 7pm in the Whitefriar Community Centre, 54 Aungier St, Dublin 2.

The international Mind, Body, Spirit Festival goes ahead in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Speakers include voice coach Stewart Pearce, Chakra dance teacher Anita Searby, and David Hamilton, who will speak about quantum field healing. The Irish ChildbirthTrust/Cuidiú will host a conference on Friday, October 29th, in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin. The keynote speaker is Dr Kathleen Kendall Tackett, clinical associate professor of paediatrics at the Texas Tech, University School of Medicine, Amarillo, who will discuss how breastfeeding can reduce the risk of depression in new mothers.
