Padraig Harrington leads by one shot from Eduardo Romero after 14 holes at the Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews today.
The Dubliner birdied the second and fifth to lead the race for the massive €514,535 first prize after Romero had gone top with a 25-foot putt on the first green.
Colin Montgomerie had one of the lowest rounds of his life in his sights after an amazing display.
Montgomerie, top scorer in last week's Ryder Cup victory, turned in 30 and then birdied the 10th and 11th to stand eight under par for the day and 16 under for the tournament.

That put him joint third with Vijay Singh, one behind Eduardo Romero and two behind Harrington
