Finland's Marcus Gronholm was today crowned world rally champion following his victory in the Rally of New Zealand.
The win seals a third consecutive constructors' championship for car manufacturers Peugeot.
Richard Burns, the reigning world champion, had been leading the event but fell out of contention following a dramatic crash.
