Television presenter Gráinne Seoige and her husband are to separate, it was announced today.

Television presenter Gráinne Seoige and her husband are to separate, it was announced today.

In a statement issued this morning, Ms Seoige and Stephen Cullinane said the decision came after 11 years together, adding they remain good friends and their main concern is their son and stepson Conall.

The couple, who married in September 2002, asked the media to respect their privacy and said there would be no further comment.

Ms Seoige, who presented the daytime show RTÉ Seoige for three seasons, currently presents the All-Ireland Talent Show on the station. One of the State's best-known broadcasters, she has also worked with Des Cahill on the Up For The Match specials, has presented the People of the Year Awards and has worked at TG4, TV3, and Sky News Ireland.
