Shares is Golden Vale soared by 23 per cent this afternoon after it was announced Kerry Group has made an offer for the company. At 3 p.m. the share were trading 25 cents higher at euro 1.32.
Golden Vale confirmed it has received an initial approach from Kerry Group which may or may not lead to an offer for the company, a statement from Golden Vale said today.
The statement added that the value of this approach is inadequate indicating that further negotiations are likely.
