Malcolm Glazer has launched his third Stock Market raid in as many days to take his stake in Manchester United to 28.11 per cent.
The American business tycoon spent another £3.6 million this morning to add another 1.27 million shares to his portfolio.
It takes Glazer's overall outlay over £60 million since he initiated the increases late on Friday evening.
Glazer, who was behind the preliminary approach made to United on October 4th, is still marginally behind major shareholders John Magnier and JP McManus, who through their Cubic Expression investment vehicle, retain a 28.9 per cent stake in the Old Trafford outfit.
