A seven-year-old girl has been treated for smoke inhalation following a petrol bomb attack on her home in Lisburn.

The incident happened at a in the Colinvale area of Lisburn at around 2.30am.

A suspected petrol bomb was placed at the front of a house where a woman and child were sleeping.

The girl was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene but did not require hospital treatment. The woman was uninjured.

Police said they wanted to get in touch with a man who got into a taxi shortly after this incident and also any taxi driver in the Colinvale area around this time, as they may be able to help them with their enquiries.
