Ryan Giggs wants Manchester United to turn Old Trafford into a fearsome fortress once again.
Giggs admits Old Trafford is not as intimidating for visiting teams as it used to be because of the successes this season in the Barclaycard Premiership of Bolton, Chelsea and West Ham.
Giggs feels it is time to reverse this trend, starting with the visit of Southampton tomorrow.
"You have to expect this because of the teams that have come here and got results," he said.
"Bolton have come here and got a result and West Ham have as well.
"So teams are probably thinking it's not as fearsome a place as it was probably a couple of years ago. "It's up to us to change that because no other people can do that.
"We've got to make sure we go on a run, especially at Old Trafford, and make sure people fear coming here again and get our form back."
As well as Giggs starting, United could also welcome back David Beckham from his controversial spell on the sidelines. Southampton manager Strachan believes that if the Saints play to their full potential, they can add to United's recent discomfort at Old Trafford.
Former United hero Strachan takes his team to the north-west boosted by a run of three Premiership wins in four matches.
Strachan faces one-time mentor Sir Alex Ferguson knowing that the champions have not always been at their awesome best in recent weeks.
He said: "We will need to be at our best in all departments to match United but if we play as well as I know we can then we can come back with something to show for our day at Old Trafford."
