Chelsea have completed the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Geremi. The 24-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, has moved to Stamford Bridge for a fee of stg£7million.
The Cameroon international, who has agreed a five-year deal with the Blues, claims he has joined the west London side because he wants to win "many titles".
He told Chelsea TV: "I'm very happy to come and play for one of the bigger teams in the Premier League.
"I've got a lot of ambition and I would like to win a lot of titles if it's possible - and that's why I've come here.
"Chelsea want to sign big players and that is good for us - when you play with big players it is much easier. They can understand everything.
"You have to work hard and try to improve every day. Now let's see what will happen."
Geremi's arrival completes a remarkable 24 hours for Chelsea, who have completed the stg£6million capture of full-back Glen Johnson from West Ham and agreed a fee with Blackburn, believed to be stg£17million, for Republic of Ireland winger Damien Duff.
